The 2020 Super Cup takes place tonight between Champions Leauge winners Bayern Munich and Europa League winners Sevilla with Paddy Power, Power Price available.
The Super Cup takes place every season, between the winners of the Champions League and the Europa Leauge. Last year it was an all-English game between Liverpool and Chelsea, in which Klopp’s side won.
This year it’s Bayern Munich taking on Sevilla as the Puska’s Arena in Budapest. This is one of the first games to welcome back fans with 30% of the capacity allowed.
Robert Lewandowski to score 2 or more – 5/2
Lewandowski was unbelievable last season and finished the season on 55 goals. 15 of these came in ten Champions Leauge games. In Europe last season, he scored two or more goals in four different games. He is a fantastic goalscorer and he’ll fancy himself against Sevilla. Bayern won 8-0 on the weekend in which he scored one. If they can get to this level of performance again and create that many chances you’d expect him to get more.
Luuk De Jong to score – 3/1
The Dutch striker had a fairly quiet season in front of goal last year. He managed just 10 goals all season, but three of them came when it really mattered. He scored in the semi-final against Man United and then got two against Inter Milan in the final. De Jong has a knack for the big occasion and tonight might not be any different. Bayern do tend to have moments of madness at the back and Sevilla are a tough team to play against. If they create a chance, it’s likely to fall to the Europa League final hero.
Leroy Sane to score first – 6/1
The ex-City winger joined Bayern Munich in the summer for a fee of around €45 million and is a quality player. He got his first goal for his new club on Saturday scoring against Schalke. Bayern’s wingers are always in amongst the goals as they tend to drift inside or get in behind. With Sane’s pace, he will be a huge threat to Sevilla’s defence. In the game at the weekend against Schalke, Bayern looked. to get him in behind with every opportunity and he got two assists and a goal from it. At 6/1 its a good price for a man who has an eye for goal.
Bayern Munich to win 3-0 – 12/1
The German side are the 1/3 favourites for this and we fully expect them to win, it’s just by how many? Sevilla are a tough side to break down so we don’t see a huge 5/6/7-0 scoreline coming. Bayern won three games in Europe last season 3-0 against Chelsea, Lyon and Red Star Belgrade. 3-0 could well be the scoreline tonight and at 12/1 it’s worth a go.
