Premier League Player Of The Month Odds

There are so many world-class players in the Premier League but only one can win the Player Of The Month for November, who will it be?

Like the Manager Of The Month award, the Player Of The Month award is selected by fans and a panel of experts. However, on top of that, the captain of each club also has a say.

Jurgen Klinsmann was the first-ever player to win this award back in August 1994. He was playing for Spurs at the time and this would be the only time he would win the award. Klinsmann did go on to win the FWA Footballer Of The Year award that season.

Aguero holds the record for the most awards won by a player. He has been Player Of The Month seven times in his career, whilst Harry Kane has six and is the closest to catching him. The award has only ever been won three times in a single season by one player and that’s Mo Salah in 2017/18.

The current holder of the award is Dominic Calvert-Lewin. The Everton striker scored five goals in three games, all of which his side won. Three of his goals came against West Brom and it was a perfect hat-trick.

November Player Of The Month Odds

Raheem Sterling = 14/1

Sterling is leading the way in the odds for the Player Of The Month for November. He has won this award twice before so has shown he can be the best player in the league. This season he has one goal and one assist so far which isn’t the worst return but he’ll need to improve on to win the award. In November, City are playing against Spurs, Liverpool and Burnley. These are all tough games but if he can get a few goals then it will go along way and looks better than against a lesser side. Sterling is capable of winning this award but we think there are better options at higher prices.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang = 16/1

Like Sterling, Aubameyang has won the award twice. The Arsenal captain has started slow this season with just one goal but in his two previous seasons, he has finished with 22 goals. He will get going soon, but will this be in November? Arsenal only has two games in November so Aubameyang will need to get himself a good return against just Man United and Leeds. Like Sterling, we think he can but it’s a big ask with them games!

Mo Salah = 16/1

With three previous awards to his name, Salah would be a good bet for November. He has started this season strong with five goals in four games. In November Liverpool play Man City, Leicester and Brighton. We see Salah having a better chance of winning it than Sterling due to him having started the season better. He has a good scoring record against big sides and if he can get a few in November, especially against Man City, he will be up there.

Kevin De Bruyne = 16/1

Surprisingly, De Bruyne has never won the Player Of The Month award. He is the best player in the league and has one goal and one assist so far this season. De Bruyne usually steps up for the big games and they don’t come much bigger than Liverpool in the league. 16/1 is a good price for someone with the ability of Man City’s midfielder. However, he has picked up a knock recently on international duty and if he misses any games he won’t win.

Bruno Fernandes = 16/1

Since his arrival in the Premier League, Bruno has won two out of five Player Of The Month awards. The two awards come in his first two months in the Premier League. Bruno has an advantage of the players above as United have four games in November, so he has more chances to impress. United are playing Arsenal, Everton, West Brom and Southampton.
