Joshua v ?

Who will Anthony Joshua fight next – Following the Champs title defense v Povetkin there is plenty of Heavyweight fighters who would love the chance to steal the belts off Joshua. Nonetheless, there are claims to say that he continues to refuse matches verse, Tyson Fury & Deontay Wilder

Well, that was up until now. Joshua booked out Wembley for April 13th and has completely sold out the arena without even announcing an opponent. The next few months in boxing will decide AJ’s opponent depending on how Wilder gets on v Tyson Fury. If Wilder is to beat Fury, the fight between Wilder & AJ will decide and undisputed World Champion. Wilder possesses the only belt Joshua hasn’t won yet.

This fight will be the biggest in years if not ever, however, theoretically if Fury beats Wilder he will take the WBC Heavyweight belt. This could really ruin the plans between AJ & Wilder as it would cancel out the possibility of it being an undisputed heavyweight fight.  Joshua’s team have begun negotiations with Wilder regarding the fight in April. There would certainly be more money involved if he was to fight Deontay Wilder.

Still, if AJ wants to be an undisputed Champ he has to be open to the possibility to fight a replenished Tyson Fury. Despite this Joshua has never even really mentioned fighting Fury, but it will only be a matter of time before the Gypsy King gets under his skin. The Lineal Champion recently said ‘Everyone knows to be the heavyweight boxing Champion of the world, you have to bet Tyson Fury’. Well, we will have to wait and see…
