With a new manager at one of Englands biggest clubs come new Paddy Power specials and were going to look at some of Jose Mourinho bets we like the look of.
On Tuesday night Spurs shocked the world by getting rid of Mauricio Pochettino. The Argentinean manager had done a great job in London, guiding Spurs to their first-ever Champions League final. However, a bad run of games at the start of this season has led to Daniel Levy getting rid of him.
Getting rid of Pochettino meant Spurs were only going to bring in a big name, and they don't get much bigger than Mourinho. The Portuguese manager has been out of work since he was sacked from Man United in December 2018. It was rumoured he was looking to come back to the Premier League and now the Special One is back, Paddy Power has some Special Ones of their own.

To sign Zlatan Ibrahimovic before February 3rd 2020 – 5/2
The Swedish striker is currently a free agent after having just left LA Galaxy after a year and a half at the club. He has worked with Mourinho twice before at Inter Milan and more recently Man United. Even though he is 38 years old he is still playing like a 28-year-old. Ibrahimovic would be a good signing for the club, especially considering their lack of back up options for Harry Kane. It would be a surprising move but one we feel would benefit all parties involved, even if it was only until the ends of the season.
Tottenham to finish in the top 4 19/20 – 3/1
When you see that Spur are currently in 14th place this seems like a million miles away. A closer look at the league table will show you they are 11 points off with 26 games still to go. This isn't an easy task but one that Mourinho and Spurs' squad are definitely capable of doing. They have been in the top four for the last four seasons so certainly have the experience of doing so. If a few results go their way then it can easily happen.
To sign Nemanja Matic before February 3rd 2020 – 7/2
Matic has been like a loyal pet to Mourinho over the past few years. When Mourinho was at Chelsea, he re-joined them from Benfica and then when he went to Man United Matic followed. The Serbian midfielder is finding his playing days numbered under Solskjaer and is apparently looking to leave. Spurs haven't had an out and out holding midfielder for a while and the style of football Mourinho plays, his trusty Matic would be perfect.
Tottenham to win all four league games against Chelsea & Man Utd – 19/20
What better way to win over his new fans and make a statement that beating both of his former clubs. If ever there was a time to play these two sides, it's probably now. Chelsea are in good form but are a young side. Mourinho's tactics could frustrate them and Spurs could definitely beat them. Mourinho's former side is up and down more times than a yoyo at the minute. If Spurs play them at the right time they could easily turn them over and the two sides meet in a fortnights time.
