Is it just me or do the odds on offer these days seem very mean? Everything is priced so short that the chances of ever having a decent win seem remote. I actually saw odds the other day which were 40/85. I mean, what even is that? So, if like me you are looking for a bit more bang for your buck, check out Ladbrokes Bookmakers.
As bet promotions go they are quite good at changing it up and giving a bit more value for money. They have an offer on at the moment called ‘Give Your Odds A Lift‘ and it works like this…
How Does It Work
Give Your Odds A Lift works by giving you the opportunity to boost your odds instantly. I should point out that you have to be a Ladbrokes online customer to do this! Once you click on the ‘Odds Boost' Ladbrokes will tell you how many options you have available. That way you know in advance which sports or games you can get a boost on.
Most customers will be offered the same potential boosts. And, even better, you can even pick one bet each day to boost your odds. The sport and selections are your choice! You could also pick any horse race on the day or even use it on a 5+ footie acca to really maximise its potential.
So choose your bet and when the betting slip opens on the right-hand side of the page, click on the ‘Boost' button and straight away the odds improve for your selection. In this case, I looked at a football match and went with the away team for the win at odds of 7/4. When I clicked the boost function the went up to 9/5.
Is The Boost Any Good?
What does that mean in terms of how much I could win? If I placed a bet of £10 on odds of 7/4 I could win £17.50 plus my £10 stake back. That would give me a total of £27.50.
If I placed the same £10 bet but on odds of 9/5 I would win £18 plus my stake. So £28 in total. That's a difference of just 50p. Now that doesn't sound like a lot – because it isn't. However, the starting odds weren't great to begin with! Opting for starting odds of 4/1 or 6/1 will give you a bigger net difference with the boost on your £10 bet.
With 6/1 the odds go up to 13/2. That is the difference between winning £60 or £65 so you win five pounds more with the promotion – if your bet actually comes in.
Is It Worth It?
Look, anything that could make you more money with costing anything extra is worth it. Even if it's just 50p. Other bookmakers have similar options but often they are conditional on you having already made a specific number of bets. As a straight-up, no catch offer, Ladbrokes is a solid option.
If you don't already have a Ladbrokes account, you can sign-up today and still take advantage of the Odds Boost straight away. So if you have a game in mind, check out the odds and maybe you'll be able to get a little bump in the odds to make it worthwhile.
