Community Shield Money Back Special
Liverpool take on Man City this weekend in the Community Shield final in the seasons first competitive game and Paddy Power are offering a money-back special!
After what seems like a lifetime, the football season is finally back. As the winners of the Premier League Man City will take on Liverpool in Sundays Community Shield final. Liverpool got there due to finishing second. It is meant to be the FA Cup winners who play, but as Man City won that also then it goes to second in the Premier League.

Liverpool vs Man City
The last time these two sides met was at the Etihad in a must-win game for both teams. Liverpool were seven points ahead of Man City in the league and win would have seen them go ten points clear. Man City won the game 2-1 and then went on to win the Premier League.
Even though Liverpool have won the Champions League since this will still hang over them. The other time they met was at Anfield where the two sides drew. Mahrez had the chance to seal the three points with a penalty in the last minute, but he sent it over.
In terms of going into this game from pre-season, Man City are better prepared. They have won three games and lost one whereas Liverpool have lost three one and won one. Liverpool have also only just got Salah, Alisson and Firmino back with Mane not returning until after the Community Shield.
You would have to say Man City are the favourites going into the game, but Liverpool do have a very good squad and it should be a good game.
