Man City beat Brighton in the FA Cup semi-final on Saturday to keep dreams of a quadruple still on!

Pep Guardiola’s side beat Brighton 1-0 at Wembley to get themselves through to the final of the FA Cup. This means that Man City could become the first side to complete the quadruple in English football.

It is a feat that has never been done before, Manchester United have had the best season when they won the Premier League, the FA Cup and the Champions League in 1999. Man City would love to take this accolade off of their rivals. However, they are still in three trophies and will need to be at their very best to win them all.

They have already won the Carabao Cup back in February. City beat Chelsea on penalties that day having beaten them 6-0 two weeks before. This was Guardiola’s third major trophy with the club, having won the Premier League once and the Carabao Cup twice in his three years at City.

The FA Cup

City have never won the FA Cup with Pep but this looks like it’s about to change. They came back from 2-0 away to Swansea to get into the semi-finals. Jesus scored the only goal against Brighton at Wembley to book themselves a place in the final.

They face Watford who came back from 2-0 in their game against Wolves to win 3-2. As you would expect City are the favourites for this game. Bet365 have them priced at 1/6 to lift the trophy with Watford at 4/1. City have already played Watford this season and beat them 2-1 and 3-1. They also have fantastic form at the national ground. Pep’s side has only conceded one goal in their last six games there showing Watford have it all to do. However, it is an FA Cup final so anything could happen!

Champions League

This is a trophy that City have never won before, but thankfully their manager is more than experienced in the competition. Pep has won the competition twice with Barcelona, so could be the missing piece for City.

City have been the favourites for this competition all year. They got beat last year by Liverpool in the quarter-finals so will be hoping to get further this year. The Citizens face Spurs in the quarters this year and have beaten them twice already this season they will be confident of doing it again.

At 9/4 City could be a good bet to win the competition. If they beat Spurs they will face either Ajax or Juventus and will avoid Liverpool, Porto, Man United or Barcelona. They have arguably the best squad in the competition and this will be key with them having so many games left.

Premier League

This is the one that is going to be the most interesting to watch. City currently sit second in the Premier League with Liverpool two points ahead. However, City do have a game in hand on them but the way the fixtures have worked out this looks like it’s against Man United.

Liverpool are desperate to win the league as they have never won it before and came so close in 2013/14. Pep would love to be the first side to win back to back Premier League titles since United in 2008/09.

Liverpool seems to have the better of the fixture list to considering they have fewer games left and only really face the challenge of Chelsea this weekend. City still have to play United and Spurs, with the Spurs game being just after their two legs against them in the Champions League.

Again though City will need a big squad to be able to do this. Their squad is far better than Liverpool’s and if Liverpool were to face an injury to a key player they don’t have many backups.

City also have experience of doing this, whereas in Liverpool’s team only James Milner has won a league title before. Liverpool are currently priced at 6/4 to win the league with Man City the favourites for this also at 8/15 on Bet365.

Bet365 also have odds on Man City winning all three remaining trophies. You can back them at 4/1 to win them all, but if its Liverpool you think can do the double you can back them at 10/1.
